Reminded me a lot of that Tony Stewart Wreck at the end of the race when he got a bit of air after dominating most of it.

Kyle Busch did something similar too I think...here or Michigan (2004?)

Still, if one person is gonna crash, it might as well be Danica, every camera is gonna be pointing at her anyway so at least there's a lot of replays!

Which totally excuses him for wrecking her on the straightaway right?

They barely made any contact. No need to retaliate like that.

Looked pretty intentional. Wrecking people on the straights is all the rage these days it seems.

I agree. It did look intentional.

I didn't say what he did was right, but ESPN didn't put the blame on either one of them because they seemed to think some imaginary car hit Buescher into Danica

Busch wins again. Lucked out on the short runs at the end.

Yeah Buescher got his nose chopped pretty good, so I guess he didn't appreciate that.

Bah, on the Danica-Buescher incident, it was pretty clearly intentional. The spotter was somewhat at fault for saying clear in the first place, but a lesson Danica (hopefully) learned is that on a track like Fontana, that doesn't just mean you're good to go up high.

Still, Buescher has shown that he's a fucking prick about three or four times on track (against Bayne at Bristol, Newman-?-at Nashville, and now this), and needs to get the Jimmy Spencer treatment... and by that, I mean get punched in the face without being able to defend himself.

Because 2 feet of air clearly constitutes nearly turning over.

As much as I don't like Danica, there was no excuse for Buescher to turn his car into her.

Did Harvick say anything after the race? I missed it.

He pretty much said there are going to be some changes and if you cant handle the pressure, find something else to do.

Pretty much his usual post race.

I guess I'll post this here since he used to race NASCAR...Shane Hmiel was in a very bad USAC crash in qualifying earlier...It doesnt sound good..Here are the twitter quotes.

"Still waiting for updates on Shane Hmiel. Car's roll cage hit the wall during end-over-end crash in qualifying; evac'ed to hospital."

" UPDATE: Shane's family is flying in to stay close to the situation."

No. He's winning so regularly even he can't find a way to make interviews interesting anymore. But never miss an opportunity to use "Kryle".

I'm not a Danica fan, but that was a real dipshit move by Buescher. She was having a very respectable run. Driving into the right-rear quarter of someone and turning them head-on to the wall is the the most chickenshit way to wreck somebody, hope someone has Buescher's head for that.

And Harvick needs to clean house. He has the most worthless pit crew I've ever seen.

Besides all that, that was surprisingly good for a Nationwide race at California.

There are many ways to quantify how good Kyle Busch is, but one that really impresses (and depresses) me is that at only about two months older than me, he already has a combined 82 wins among the top three NASCAR series.
