Oh wow, yeah. Whoever threw that was stupid as fuck. They all were for trying to get into Harvick's window. A bunch of people could've gotten hurt for no real reason.

Love that Harvick just said what he wanted to say too. There's nothing Richard can do now short of kicking him out early.

Haha that is awesome. Harvick is a cool douchebag, he was 100% correct in this one.

Harvick's a douchebag but you can't argue with his interview. Childress can do what he wants with his own team but he's the only person who believes the Dillon boys deserve the silver spoon treatment they're receiving.

I mentioned this on Twitter, but does anyone see a possible deal between RC and Tony before tomorrow that sees Harvick finish out the year in the 39 and Newman in the 29? That way Harvick can still go for a drivers title.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. - Kevin Harvick said that when he left Richard Childress Racing after this season that he wanted to be able to shake hands with Childress.

That might not be so easy or cordial after Harvick and Childress’ grandson, Ty Dillon wrecked in Saturday’s Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The result was battered trucks and bruised feelings.

Dillon, goaded by Childress on the radio, tried to wreck Harvick under caution in retaliation for Harvick’s actions. Harvick then stopped in Dillon’s pit where a rubber mallet flew toward his truck.

“It’s unfortunate you got to be dumped by a guy who you cut slack all day,’’ Harvick told Motor Racing Network. “Just unfortunate.’’

Asked about the rubber mallet thrown at his car, Harvick told The Sporting News: “I don’t care what they throw at me. It’s exactly why I’m leaving RCR because you’ve got those punk ... kids coming up.’’

Childress tried to contain his fury.

“I’m disappointed,’’ he said about the incident. “Very disappointed. That’s all I can say. I’ve got too much class to really say what I want to say right now. When I say it, I will say it to (Harvick’s) face.’’

Childress had plenty to say on the radio after Dillon and Harvick had their incident.

Harvick ran second to eventual winner Darrell Wallace Jr. Dillon was behind Harvick with 12 laps to go.

Dillon ran into the back of Harvick’s truck and spun both. Dillon said afterward that Harvick hit the brakes and forced Dillon to hit him.

After the incident, Harvick rammed Dillon’s truck on the backsteretch.

Childress got on the radio and told Dillon: “Turn his (rear) upside down. Don’t take no (expletive).’’

Dillon sped to catch Harvick and slammed Harvick’s truck in the rear and the side but was unable spin Harvick before Harvick drove away.

Harvick then stopped in Dillon’s pit. A couple members of Dillon’s crew went to the truck’s door as a NASCAR official tried to keep them away. A rubber mallet flew toward the truck from behind the pit wall.

“To hit us after the fact and continue to tear up our car, that is just typical Kevin Harvick and pretty much the career at RCR for him,’’ Dillon said.

Dillon also was displeased that Harvick left the track before the race ended.

“Can’t even face me after it,’’ Dillon said. “I’m pretty disappointed in the things that just went down. I used to look up to that guy.’’

How quickly they lose sight of the fact that the whole thing began as Dillon's fault. If he just drove with a bit more class the last several laps there would have been no altercation.

Kevin Harvick said a lot of what I've been thinking about the Dillon brothers the last few years. I'm happy he wasn't afraid to say what he said.

Childress, eh?

*facepalm*

Still, a richly deserved win for Wallace Jr.

Will there be a stream for tonight?

Can't be bothered to wait for the delayed Premier coverage

It was cool to see that kind of emotion in victory lane. Perhaps I'm being absent-minded but I feel like it's been a while since a driver has been that overcome in the moment.

On Raceday they showed a clip of Ty and Richard talking after the incident. Hard to tell who said what but I think Richard said "I've got a plan for him" or something. One of the crew members then realized that a camera was recording them and moved the camera away haha.

FWIW, they interviewed Kevin and he apologized for his comments.

It's funny how often the c word is used by people who don't have any. I hope RCR doesn't show even more class by pulling Kevin out of the car for today's race, lol. If he does, SHR better put him in the 14.

Dillon boys are in for such a tough time in Cup if they don't lose the attitude and self-importance. Even Menard, another rich kid who was never even a douche like these two, got undeserved flack for every little mistake so for them, I predict a lot worse.

Menard, for all the shit he gets about his dad and such, rarely drives like an asshole and has put a couple of solid, under the radar seasons together.
