That's the thing, though. We, as fans, will tune in every damn sunday anyway. And how will NASCAR ever going to realize how fucked up lot of stuffs are, if everyone's still watching.

EDIT: reply to 3 posts back.

Stock cars racing on dirt at Bristol is such a horrendous idea.

For the most part, I really don't get the whole love affair with stock cars racing on dirt. Even on some of the bigger/faster tracks the light, specially-built dirt late models strike me as really slow and clumsy. If I'm going to bother watching a dirt race I want to see sprint cars (with or without the wings) really get after it and tear around the track like hell.

Especially since when Motors TV were showing ARCA for a couple of years, the only dirt track I saw them show didn't actually have all that much dirt on it, more a "dry line" of tarmac and dirt on the inside...

But hey, I'm just a Brit, what the hell would I know!

(The novelty of it appealed to me though, just a shame, as I say, there wasn't much dirt on this so-called dirt track)

The track(Du Quoin and Springfield) are definitely dirt. I think pit road at DuQuoin has some concrete on it, but the track is dirt. Walked across it last year, if I remember this year, I'll try to grab a shot of the backstretch when I go across it into the infield. I think the black areas on the track is from the tire rubber.

For those unable to watch: Ricky Carmichael started on pole, but was taken away by Clint Bowyer before lap one was completed. Cole Whitt just blew up bringing out the first caution around lap 20 or so.

How I notify vehicles behind me moving at 150+ MPH that I am pitting?

Johanna Long just ran into the back of B.J. MacLeod. Looks like he was pitting and she didn't know.

Sauter got a flat right front tire and now he hits the wall. That's what happen when you move up like that and hit another car.

Apparently Blake Feese thinks he can plow through Josh Richards.

He was clearly moving to the inside when Richards cut him off.
Fantastic saves by both of them, though Feese blew a tire and brought out the caution.

Yeah I can't really blame Feese for the incident. I wouldn't have expected Richards to come down so much either.

Jason White was up to 15th before having a loose wheel. On his way back up, he got smashed into the wall when Josh Richards got loose and hit about 3 trucks.
