when the heat here is basically the same as 600 on fall race weekend :yuk:

so glad it tried to rain yesterday with the cloud cover cooling it down (only felt 2 or 3 sprinkles all day, right at the end of Busch qualy)

not at the track today - so following from afar

NASCAR just called a caution before the cameras had even picked up Stenhouse spinning, by which time he was already running again. Amazing officiating

It feels like all other motorsport series in the world save up SC periods for incidents they should be really throwing SC's for so they can hand them to NASCAR to waste them on incidents that have no business being even a VSC

We having a saying over here on our oval races "If you see an incident, count to ten before making a decision" (Unless it's something obviously huge like car upside down or on fire etc)

NASCAR should learn from this, but it's probably more about them hoping for more Turn 1 chaos than anything else.
