At the very least it's nice to see a championship battle fought and won between guys dedicated to that series and not Cup drivers douching it up for a bit of extra cash (although they still douche up the occasional race). The way NNS should be.

I'll agree with that. Bodine was on it almost every race this year, I can't remember him finishing shitty at all (although I know he did a couple of times.)
EDIT: 1 finish outside of the top-30 (DNF) and only 2 other finishes outside of the top-15 seems on it enough to me.

And performing over the whole year is what got him the championship, not just stringing some good runs together over the last 10 races.

This is the most legitimately enjoyable championship battle in NASCAR we're getting this year. That's kinda sad.

Keselowski's been pretty decent all year, as well.
EDIT: Holy fuck, 27 top-10s in 33 races, with 0 DNFs and completed all but 1 lap, to clinch the title 2 races early. Decent might be an understatement.
