Really expected the hit to the inside wall to be bigger and get creamed as he slid up the track.

Suppose it would have had the Trucks series been healthier. Theres like 15-20 trucks racing and the rest are plodding around to be the first paker.

What's going on? Even K&N West has bigger car counts this year; only one West race so far had less than 20 cars entered, compared to K&N East's 8 races.

I think the problem might be ARCA. K & N East and ARCA don't really serve the same purpose, but I guess there's enough overlap that they are competing with each other for numbers. It doesn't help that 7 of the K & N East races were on the same day as ARCA races this year and another two were on the same weekend.

That was a very entertaining finish to the truck race. Rhodes made a great move on the last restart and did a heck of a job of holding off Bell for the win.

Just tuned in for cup race, and it's red-flagged.

Edit - Nascar Alert twitter tweeted that Jeffrey Earnhardt spins coming onto pit road and hits the sand barrels at pit entrance.

Edit #2 -

Lapped traffic costs Chase Elliott the race and gives Kyle Busch the win.

I started watching after they lifted the red flag.

It might as well just be a glorified practice session.

How many weeks until Talladega again?

Yea, they're actually showing it on TV here again on a new channel and so I tuned in for a while and could not believe why anyone would watch this. Almost zero racing, everyone spread apart while commentary team harping on endless about CHAMPIONSHIP IMPLICATIONS everytime someone in 19th pits early and falls back or something. What else can they do though, the racing is non-existent, have to talk about something. So NASCAR created this system where undeserving drivers also get a mathematical shot at the championship and gives something to the crew to talk about.
