That was a fun race to watch even though I'm not a big fan of either driver racing for the win. Now we've got the truck race still to come.

I'm so happy for Kurt. He was such a punkass back in the day but once he went over to the 78 and got humbled he's been one of my favorites. Plus he's basically as close as we're going to get to a real life Ricky Bobby.

In all seriousness, he's been with this one for about as long as he's been divorced. I think there's some correlation between her, her son, and her son's father (I think) that ties into Kurt's newfound appreciation for war veterans. Not that he didn't appreciate them before, just, y'know.

Brian Silas was definitely at the wrong place at the wrong time there. Don't see trucks get torn up like that at Martinsville very often.
