Kyle Busch's crew chief is very good at cheating and getting away with it.

Kyle Busch wins his tenth out of a possible fifteen races this Nationwide series season. His two fans at Chicagoland go crazy.

A good reminder that he has been terrible in the chase literally every year he's been in it.

Imagine if the kid actually focused on Cup... the results could be staggering. But nope, that's crazy talk.

I (used to)watch the Nationwide series to see Nationwide drivers race. I watch the Sprint Cup series to see Sprint Cup drivers race. Why is NASCAR trying to kill the Nationwide Series? You used to buy tickets to the weekend races to see TWO races, and the young up and coming drivers would make a name for themselves in their own series.....now it's Cup guys taking the headlines for both series. It's a cancer to the Nationwide series....all you have to do is see all those empty grandstands during the Nationwide races to see the results. NASCAR should let the Nationwide series stand on its own 2 feet and stop letting Cup regulars who have already graduated the series go back and rape it for their own financial gain.......slowly killing it in the process.

Its hard to follow up and coming drivers when the Cup drivers win every race.

Its like F1 drivers doing GP2 in the best cars, just for the sake of it.

Then it isn't cheating.

It's only cheating when you get caught.

After all the strict enforcement and backpedaling on enforcing it, the second place driver can now beat the leader to the line once the leader accelerates, which is the right call I've always thought.
Quote:
UPDATE: Changes were announced Sunday morning during the drivers' meeting. The restart zone will remain in place and the leader will still control the start within the zone. Once the leader accelerates, the green flag will fly (within the restart zone). The flagman will throw the green if the leaders get to the end of the restart zone and the cars have not accelerated. HOWEVER, once leader goes (or the flag flies), the leader can be passed by the second place car before the start/finish line. Drivers are still not allowed to change lanes before the start. If the second place driver jumps the restart, they will be black flagged.(9-15-2013)

So who exactly is in charge of restarts, the leader or the flagman?

It's simple enough to just say, once the green is out, the track is green, fuck the line, you go by the flag...

Then set up a few cameras to ensure the second place driver isn't jumping before the flag and have at it.

In other news: Rain, which means we have a few more hours to endlessly debate the shitstorm instead of getting on with some racing.
Yay :(
