Wanted to apologize for the misleading post about the Nationwide crash on Wednesday, I was standing down by the fence off turn 4 when the accident happened off turn 2. Made the mistake of asking someone in the stands what exactly happened. Didn't want to ruin my credibility.

I'm not sure if anyone's caught this, but Jean Todt (head of the FIA) is apparently at Daytona this weekend for the Firecracker.

Got a front moving through that may stall out over the state, might be questionable getting the Nationwide race in tonight.

Hate to be negative here, but I kinda hope it does rain out tonight,so I may actually get a chance to watch the NW race if they run it in daylight like they did a few years ago. I work both tonight and tomorrow at 6pm(EST),so I won't be able to catch eiether race should they run at their scheduled times.

That might lead to a scheduling conflict with the Grand-Am race tomorrow morning.

I would think they'd kick it to Sunday no?

Wait, just looked at the schedule. Brumos 250 rolls off at 11AM and is set for a max of 2.5 hours. That leaves 2PM as a possible starting time for the NWS race should they not get it in tonight.

Parker Kligerman just put the #26 car 2nd on the grid between Brad Keselowski and Justin Allgaier moments ago.

So, is Kligerman running Penske power with Brian Keselowski owner points or something?

Also, Greg Sacks was the first driver I pulled for back in the 80's. Hopefully, the qualifying run will lead to a great race!
