It's pretty funny, I saw JWT and Milka Duno giving each other pointers in the Nationwide garage this passed weekend. I literally laughed out loud.

In between his family, his back and the fact NASCAR is seemingly engineered to not reward him another championship no matter how good he is, I can see him retiring soon.

Not winning under any format except the Winston has to gnaw at him though. Especially as Stewart won under two systems without complaining.

Interspliced by years of obesity and mediocrity.

Jeff Gordon has now done the exact same thing which has given Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt their everlasting legacy.

It's a neat idea, but it also shows how far gone the ex-CASCAR series really is in Canada.

What the hell happened to the West Series?

Only 9 full-time teams compared to the East's 16 this year, and half of them are uncompetitive backmarkers. Even Jack Sellers is still putting around, and he's almost 70.

Basically face planted the last few years. The team who won the championship this season is shutting down now too. However, there is some good news, Team Stange who ran in ARCA last season will be running a full K&N season next year, as well as a partial ARCA schedule on the big tracks.

there's nothing wrong with adding a dirt race. they might as well try something new as the series has had some problems. there were only 11 races on the schedule this year and only 6 of those 11 races had at least 20 cars. compare that to two seasons ago in which all 12 races had at a minimum of 20 cars.

The driver development teams prefer to stay on the east coast. combine that with most major regional sponsors wanting to sponsor the walls of various stick-n-ball stadiums rather then race cars and the rising cost of the car itself means you get smaller average fields.

Is he good? Does Jerry Punch still do college games?

As much of a sports fan as I am, I don't watch college football.

He did a really good job, as the game went on he got a lot more excited. Considering how much of a blowout it was, he made it exciting.

I don't know if Gene Price's team is shutting down. I was under the impression that Jeff Jefferson was taking control of the team.

Wouldn't get my hopes up. Stange was supposed to run a full season in ARCA this year but that didn't happen. They ran maybe 5 races?

Well in fairness, I heard sponsors didn't pay out the $$$, so that could have been the main issue. Same thing happened to the #86 team IIRC.

But Busch will continue a transition he hopes has more younger drivers in his Kyle Busch Motorsports trucks next year as he will drive just four of the 22 events while fielding three full-time trucks instead of two.

So...Wallace has no full-time ride in either series lined up for 2015?
