One of these days, I'll make the four hour drive back to the paper clip (and hope it doesn't get rained out this time, like 2001)...

Classic video time:

Spoiler:
The race in 2001 that happened on Monday that got rained out on Sunday and I couldn't go back the next day...

The incident between Bobby Hamilton and Kevin Harvick earlier in that race which led to a classic Bobby Hamilton interview after the race...

A brief rundown of the 1990 race which featured a crash between Hendrick teammates Ken Schrader and Ricky Rudd who were battling for the lead at the time late in the race.

Harry Gant will not win 4 in a row...

...Oh yes he will!!!

1987 Fall race... Terry Labonte and Dale Earnhardt battle for the win on the final lap ends in tears gifting the win to DW

Setzer's Practice wreck that same weekend was pretty big, as well.

My favourite thing about Martinsvile was in 2003 when someone (was it Gordon?) popped a massive wheelie down the straight.
Pretty impressive at like 70mph tbh .

The Fall '11 race is one of the funniest - and most entertaining - races I've ever seen. God Vickers was terrible that day.

If we're thinking of the same incident, it was Kurt.

This my favorite piece of Larry Mac commentary ever. I've never really heard him raise his voice so much in excitment. "KENSETH OVER DROVE THE CORNER HERE COMES HAMLIN"

Since Johnson is out of it, I could see him helping Jeff to get the W and become the first man to get to the final 4.

Not to put a bummer on all the clips posted so far, but it's hard to believe this happened 10 years ago today.

I missed this race due to some stupid group project in university (I dropped out a couple weeks later, best decision I ever made), and came home to ask my mom who won the race. She said "ohhhh Jimmie did, but there's some really sad news about Hendrick Motorsports".

My heart sank when I learned what happened. A championship win for them would have been too good to be true that year, but Jimmie's win the following week was pretty damn special.
