Very predictable grid. Good lap for Rosberg and Bottas once again.

So I guess there's no governance about track limits this weekend then, guessing by Rosberg's line through the final corners of his pole lap?

Man alive, Rosberg is such a prick to his team. Having a go at them for not being enthusiastic enough that he's on pole? How does he fit that ego into his helmet?

They said on Sky earlier during FP3 that according to Charlie Whiting & a few of the teams that they spoke to that the data shows that running over the raised part towards the back of the kurb cost's a bit of a time so there will be no penalty's.

Given all the shite that Toto's come out with in the past few weeks, I don't blame Rosberg for being suspicious about his team's support.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Apart from saying that he hoped the double points didn't spoil the championship (which echoed what everyone else worldwide has been saying), what other 'shite' has he come out with?

Double points are highly unlikely to 'spoil' the championship. Lewis will either finish 1st or 2nd (champion), or will DNF, which will probably make Rosberg champion. Exactly the same outcome as under a normal points regime.

Principally, Toto's idea that the championship winner changing is a negative outcome, is something that Rosberg should be suspicious about. If both drivers were valued equally by the team, they cannot lose tomorrow. Mercedes will win both championships unless they are later found to have pulled a Tyrrell.

I don't think the FIA would allow something like that to go unpunished now, If Lewis was to do something as blatant as Senna in 1990 he'd probably be excluded from the championship like Schumacher was after Jerez 1997.

So he's not come out with any other 'shite' then? Think you're reading too much into his comments, considering he's saying nothing different to what all of us have been saying.

He's in a different position to the rest of us. If it was genuinely innocent, then it was a mistake to say it in public because he is supposed to be trying to keep the peace in that garage.

I'm expecting Rosberg to block Hamilton as much as he can so the Williams will catch up.

Like I said, you're reading too much into it. Different position to us or not, he's saying the same things everyone else is. I'd rather he gives his opinion than stayed silent or tried to be PC.

Yes, it's more fun for us, but it won't help the people who are working for him.

Have a think about what you're accusing him of. You're saying he intentionally or unwittingly told the media that he isn't supporting Nico's title challenge and favoring Lewis.

It's possible, but extremely unlikely. I just wish we weren't as cynical as we are at times (me included). Someone is asked a question by the media, then when they answer it we take it completely out of context and think there's a hidden agenda behind the answer.

Because that is how it can come across.

Especially for someone in Nico's position who will still have Mercedes' reaction to Spa on his mind.
