May explain why Button was so downcast after qualifying today. I mean it doesn't necessarily mean anything, it could be crossed wires, but the silence is deafening at this stage

If the worst comes to the worst, I just hope it doesn't drag out like Bruce Jacobi. No one should have to go through that

Yeah, I wonder if they're delaying any news till after today's race, like they did with the Australian driver who died at Adelaide (or maybe Bathurst, was a few years ago)

I think you mean Ashley Cooper, in the 2008 UTE race in Adelaide

Cooper died in the Fujitsu (now Dunlop) series race in 2008. There was also Mark Porter at Bathurst in 2006.
