Judging by the fact they are running a different livery, I assume Simona has some money. Maybe not as much as Senor Oops or GvdG, but a reasonable amount.

Unless Sutil get his finger out as the season goes on, I could see her being in with a chance in 2015.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

One imagines that's the reason for the livery change, I don't recall it as an old-school Sauber paint scheme ...

Could you call that Simona's personal livery? She used similar last year in IndyCars.

That's just the 2012 Sauber with the same basic livery but adjusted to Simona's colours

Good Documentary the last teammate.
The only thing i find difficult to believe is that Damon still believes that that the accident of Senna had nothing to do with structural integrity of the car.
Earlier in the program he and Brabham are discussing about the tamburello and saying that it was a corner in wich you drove the car without any heavy input implement that if you crash there something must have happend to your car.
Looking forward to the other documentaries.

I think because he's always put it down to a slow puncture. Not a steering breakage.

Also to say anything to the contrary would be putting his friends in massive legal trouble, he has been dragged through the courts as much as anyone so will be very aware of this.

To hell with Italian law, sometimes accidents are just that: no-one at fault.

Nothing can be gained by continually searching for a scapegoat.

Even the best drivers can't control random elements.

It was clear watching the footage from the previous lap that Senna's car was hitting the floor more than others, Be it because of a slow puncture or low tyre temps/pressures.

I remember 10 or so years back reading comments from one of the Italian prosecutors in which he said it was clear from the OnBoard shot that the steering column was broken since the start because of the amount of movement in the steering wheel. However when you actually think about it, If that really had been the case then surely a driver of Senna's experience & any driver with a decent technical feel for the car would have immediately realized something was wrong & stopped the car or at least radioed the team that something felt wrong.

I used to believe that the steering column breaking was to blame, But over time as I've read everything thats available & seen the crash again I've moved towards believing the official explanation.

Completely agree.

Even if something did fail on the car, Senna knew the risks & would almost certainly not have wanted the team to be put through trial after trial with the threat of jail as a result of it.

You're right, someone like Senna would have known there was a steering issue. He would have radioed the pits on the warm up laps if it had been from the start.
And Schumacher had said the lap before that Senna had almost lost it there.

Didn't the Italian authorities try going after Clark for the Von Trips crash to? I'm fairly sure it was the same for Patrese as well.
