Kovalainen, he was in front of some stronger cars for quite some time.

Like the last couple of races, he's showing some very impressive stuff. The only thing I didn't understand was why Heikki didn't show some fighting spirit when Petrov(?) overtook him. I mean, finally the Lotus seems to be competitive and still he just let other cars go by so easily, shame.

Voted for Schumacher again, also showing he has still got what it takes to be competitive, how he'll continue like this in the last 2 races and in 2012.

Does Trulli have a contract for next year? I can't see any reason why to keep him.

Yes he does.

His floor was damaged, so it wasn't exactly his fault this time.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Yes, he has a contract, although there might be clauses allowing Lotus to put Chandhok in the car for India, and even possibly one of their reserves for their home race (Razia, Rossi)

The currently "available" (ie, not confirmed yet) seats are:
2 x Force India
2 x HRT
1 x Mercedes
1 x Renault
2 x STR
1 x Virgin
2 x Williams

I don't believe him, I'm pretty sure Massa would have done different if he raced anyone else in this situation. Ofcourse he braked later but that doesn't give him the right to close the door completely. Obviously I can't know this for sure, but I think this crash was becouse of a personal thing between Massa and Hamilton.

Apparently DC was taken ill after the race.

Just posted this on Atlas (probably a mistake), but might as well post it here too:

Their collisions have set a worrying precedent, and I'm talking about Massa here.

Massa has had a pretty terrible year, some of it self-enforced, some of it caused by other drivers (and in particular Lewis). However, he's slowly starting to turn paranoid and refuse to accept any blame for his collisions. Like yesterday, he didn't blame the fact he made a mistake and had been running wide all weekend, he demanded they alter the track. Yet 23 cars didn't do the same thing.

Whilst its worrying to see a driver so depressed and down such as Lewis, it's equally worrying for a driver to continually ignore his own deficiencies and completely reject any criticism of him as it shows a disrespect for other competitors.

Alonso - he seemed to have to work hardest to end up in the position he did.

It takes a bit of guessing for pole position side when you have last and first corners in different directions. Probably got it wrong this time.

I do for once believe what Massa is saying. He probably miscalculated the fact that Lewis was still hanging on the inside, but he probably didn't close the door on purpose to ruin his own race. It's a bit like what Hamilton did with Kobayashi at Spa, judging the gap wrong. I call it rather an racing incident than giving a penalty for Massa.

That was probably the first time in F1 when a driver in front gets a penalty for causing an avoidable collision. This should have been dealt with hearing of both drivers after the race. These two will go on with their ways in the next time for sure.

And let's just look at the speed in that cornersection. Is there any chance they wouldn't have touched if they would have gone through the first part of the corner clean? I don't think so. It's not a corner where you can have 2 cars along each other. It was destined to end up in tears.
