Well I would like to think there is still some room for it to be even sweeter.

I give it a nine.

Lewis didn't won the title, it was more about a great performance of his team. No technical retirements and the fastest car, while Ferrari was having technical difficulties and mistakes. I'm actually quite suprised that McLaren was able to do such a clean job. At the same time I can't help to feel a little bitter on that matter. When our boys were racing for them, all they ever did was screwing up everything at the 11th hour - and how they used Heikki this year was also dissapointing. That's why I was supporting Ferrari, but they couldn't do as good job as the other team. But like Massa said, this is racing and anything can happen, usually it does.

Lewis won it fair and square, even though he's performance as a driver wasn't the cleanest of the pack. But on the other hand, between the years 2000-2006 the winner has always been the driver with the best overall drive of the year, so this actually brings great change. Anything can really happen and F1 has lost part of it's predictability.

So at the end, we only had handful of uneventful races and lots of epic ones, usually it's the otherway around. I have quite positive feeling about this year and like so many has said before, this was one of the best seasons ever.

This championship had some great races and also some very boring ones. It was full of drama from the first lap in Melbourne to the last corner of the last lap in Brazil. Best season since 2003 I think.

Good season, too bad about the sos decisions the stewards took during the course of it. I'd say 7. Last minutes of the season were 10\10, though.

recently, I talked a lot with friends and our conclusion was that since 2006 the championship got pretty close, continued with a fantastic 2007 season and 2008 was even better. Just awesome seasons with close battle and entertaining races

A 9. Great on track action, but too much politics.

Epic races, my 2 favorites as champion contenders. Only wanted Massa to win it this year so only 10-1 so a: 9

Haven't seen a better championship ever.

9

Pros:
A great field. Probably one of the most prepared for F1 ever as a whole.
An unusual amount of good races. At least for F1 standards.
Epic final of season.

Cons:
Excess of penalties - Stewards with too much power
Title contenders doing many mistakes - Watching Alonso and Kubica leading Japanese GP made me feel a little bit disappointed to see them out of title battle.

I never thought it could top 2003, but it did.
A fantastic season with excitement, drama, thrill, action and emotion. I have never seen something like this before.
A 9 from me.

Well, it was exciting most of the time with genuine highlights, but also a few snoozers here and there. I also quite liked the fact that we had so many different winners and three of them scored their first ever (Kovalainen, Kubica, Vettel). And of course the championship going down to the wire!

What I didn't like is that there's still too much politics involved. And the race stewards made even worse calls than their DTM colleagues.

I wish for next year more of the same, but please less BS!

9/10!

The only truly boring races were Spain [suprise suprise :whistling: ], Valencia and China. Every other one intrigued me one way or another and for that the season gets a 9/10. Epic Finish. Some Epic Races and Results. Brilliant Overall and was enjoyable throughout.
2009 wont be anything like it.

Gr8 season with some mad races. Mainly due to safety cars or rain showers.
The rule to get rid of traction control really helped it.
I was disappointed about the ending but what can ya do bout it.
Hopefully Massa wins the championship in the future and that Raikkonen can comeback stronger along with Alonso,Kubica and Vettel.
