Motorsports trend for 2024: everything is a bad taste joke now

First decent pecking order:
We start where we finished in 2023. Verstappen is fastest, Perez isn´t. Ferrari close behind. Russell is decent, Hamilton less but it shows that Mercedes is certainly not where they wanted us to believe they are.
McLarens are there, Alonso as well.
The only surprise is Alpine being last.

Field is very close though! I checked Bahrain 2023 and it was pretty much the same, but still, it gives us hope that 2024 won´t be a walkover from the start.

Alpine was by far the underachieving team, even for the expectation set by the testing in the week prior.

And in the same they were the underachiever, Haas was the overachieving team. Komatsu has kept the expectations lower and gave the tone the team was more concerned on understanding their problems more than progressing and they delivered a Q2 and Q3.

Finally awake to watch F1 qual, looks like Hamilton focused on the race setup. Let's see tomorrow if that was the right decision.
