I will call it Sauber regardless.

This rebrand is so lame. Feels like Twitter and X.

At least Sauber's rebrand makes some sense. Stake is paying money for it. Rebranding Twitter to X is probably one of the dumbest things ever. No wonder Twitter lost 71% of its value already.

Especially when everyone keeps saying "X, formerly known as Twitter" because otherwise nobody knows what they are talking about.

But indeed, Stake will stay Sauber for me. Quite unique that a team has had so many name changes and still is known for its original name. It´s not like anyone is still talking about Jordan or Minardi

I'm intrigued to see if RBR deviate in their sidepod strategy this year. They're trying something quite unique with sidepod cooling layouts this season.

The irony if they come out with Zero sidepods....and make them work! :8:

Rumblings of a clear-out at Haas, with Resta gone and Steiner reportedly about to join him. His profile page on the team website no longer functions.

Confirmed; https://racer.com/2024/01/10/steiner-ou ... principal/

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Red Bull hopefully, no team he’s ever been involved is successful so as long as he jumps from one top team to another all good for us.

Like most people, I think he had his fill of Milton Keynes the first time around.

-----------------------

The separation seems to be about money - Gene is having to put more in this year because the team finished last, Steiner wanted more on top of that to take advantage of the lifting of the infrastructure cap, Gene said no, and this is the result.

Noooo...we will never get 22 to 26 cars again.
Actually, it's more likely to end up with 18-car-grid.

that's even more likely because I believe Liberty simply don't like Michael

but since there's lots of people willing to enter the sport now it's lucrative Gene might sell his assets to any shady character
