Finally the lull is over. If there's no F1, I'll just idle on weekends. :p

But yeah, great 10 days coming. First Zandvoort and then immediately Monza. And neither of them is a sprint weekend, woo-hoo!
Even though Zandvoort has yet to provide a memorable race, I can't help loving the undulating circuit. Onboards from this narrow track are unique enough to make you feel excited. Zandvoort is much like Suzuka or Monaco: challenging, even punishing, but where it's impossible to overtake. Hence, qualifying will the main event (don't expect race to be nearly as exciting, or you'll be disappointed). Personally, I enjoy just seeing the cars doing laps in FP sessions, which we have full 3 hours.

Shame F3 decided to skip the event (wonder why, I think they had the best action of the bunch last year). Apparently next year neither F3 and F2 will support F1 (again I wonder why), which is bad news especially for ticked owners.

Weatherwise it looks a dry weekend. At least nothing compared to Spa.

This is exactly how I feel. It's strange - you go into the weekend knowing that the race will probably be dull, but you're still excited because it's such a beautiful circuit. Like Monaco, half of the excitement will be watching the cars on the limit in qualifying. There's always the chance of Safety Cars in the race, though, and the weather is turning wetter later this week... (well, not on the forecast above, but on some of the other weather websites).

I know that most of the fans will be hoping for a Verstappen win, but it would be amusing if he misses out on Vettel's consecutive win record at his home circuit.

I guess the races now are just us waiting to see when Verstappen will finally be defeated

only if he gets knocked off at the start or if the car fails

Instead of hearing the Dutch anthem once, we gotta hear it three times

Go Max and Red Bull, hope they end up winning all the races.
That way Liberty and the FIA see what kind of crap product they have, causing them to panic and give some "information" to other teams to catch up.

We can only hope.

Hey, its your own fault to watch the whole pre-race and post-race stuff. Not the Dutch's fault. :whistling:
