Typical. And rain during the podium ceremony, right? :slaphead:

Well, maybe it's better to have dry weekend this year, because after the Formula Regional accident, drivers would probably refuse to race in wet (there are 2 races since it's Crypto-weekend). Hopefully all those talks about adding a chicane before Raidillon were just talks, because better just cancel Spa than race on ravaged circuit. To mutilate Eau Rouge -section is like removing the tunnel in Monaco.

Anyway, Spa is among my top-3 tracks. Even Verstappen's domination can't ruin the weekend. Looking forward to watch every single session, support series included.

Friday very wet
Saturday morning wet, afternoon less wet
Sunday slightly wet

Let's just pray it's not like 2021

I don't know what models you are using. None show Friday as very wet. Some rain early in the morning after which there are long dry spells. Same story for Saturday. Sunday looks almost completely dry.
Obviously we're talking about Spa, so showers may come and go. But I wouldn't be surprised if all F1 sessions are dry and the only category affected is F3.

That article misses out this quote, which Russell said in the same interview:

Quote:
“I truly think F3 should not be allowed 30 cars on track at one time at any point, even in dry conditions. I think it’s a matter of time before we have a big accident there, too.”

...wut

Looks like Russell didn't watch Spa 24h. Just 72 cars on track at the same time.

Italian F4 deals perfectly well with 37 cars around Imola, 30 around Spa can't be too hard.

Can't really compare tin tops vs open-cockpit in this regard.

Well, they have piled up at Spa just as bad as open wheel cars.
