Max is so fast, he's actually already on lap 5 of the Belgian GP.

Ricciardo wasn't bad either, finished ahead of Tsunoda despite driving that dog of a car and struggling with tires

And after that race, you have to listen to the analysis of a very average Indycar driver.
Thanks Sky.

Prefer an average Indycar driver or a 16th placed finisher in the W Series?

Aren't most of the redbull trophies smashed? They were stolen once and they recovered them in a lake, so this one will fit in nicely

Naomi Schiff, right? When I first read her name I thought it was a supermodel or something like that

Zhou went from hero to zero real fast. A 5s penalty is really light for ending two cars and ruining a third. They should give a 5s penalty per car that was damaged because of you, and 10s per car that has to retire.

Aston Martin have lost momentum, this way they´ll lose 3rd place to Ferrari real soon.
McLaren are at the other side, 70 of their 87 points have been scored in the last 3 races. Suddenly the chances of a McLaren victory are higher than an Alonso win.

Norris must be praying every night for a failure on the #1 Red Bull

I'm not sure your pundit skills have much to do with your driving skills

Brundle never won a race and is insightful and cutting when needed, a joy to listen to

Nico Rosberg won a world champonship and is shit and makes it all about himself

Anyway, race was bad but C4 were good at cutting out the boredom and just giving us a punchy edit of the few things that happened. Piastri fighting hard with Perez probably my highlight (though he CBA fighting with Lewis at all *Shrug*)

If only there was a way of knowing which races are worth watching live and which need a good 30 mins of nothing cut out of them.... :whistling:

Just occurred to me that that was Alpine's 3rd double DNF and we're only halfway through the season. Quite impressive.

Honestly, I think that Danice being American just rubs us off the wrong way. Something in the accent, tone of voice... Her analysis is not very different to what Schiff does and I prefer her podium interviews too.
Schiff has the advantage of having been a driver + fills in the diversity quotas + has a nice voice + is nice eye candy, which is the kind of thing broadcasters dream of. I'm not knocking her, I just don't see how Danica is so bad to the point of not being worthy of being there.

Tbh I think Danica's 'problems' have always been 60% attitudes towards a moderately-successful female driver but also 40% Danica being prone to putting her own foot in her mouth. The real problem is that the dividing line can be blurred so easily from either side.

Let's face it - most drivers simply don't make good TV presenters, and that shouldn't be surprising. Off the top of my head the UK has had Jackie Stewart, James Hunt, Jonathan Palmer and Martin Brundle make a successful switch. It's not a high conversion rate.

Yeah, he isn't doing bad at all. I wonder if the loss of pace towards the end was simply rookie stamina.

In the post race interviews he said his tyres went and he wasn't sure why his tyre management was so poor. He had some floor damage. But even accounting for that he seemed to have general management issues.

As far as I remember, Aston Martin facilities are under a big renovation work for some time. It was expected that they wouldn't be able to keep their good form as the season went on.

But anyway, as they fall and McLaren rises, it is interesting to see that Mercedes simply aren't unable to be the best team with their own engine, which is an embarrassment.

it's utter pain when they pick Felipe Massa to interview. Total opposite to David Coulthard that is a great character and often shows charisma and handles well

But Coulthard is raised in English. Maybe Massa is a better interviewer when he can do it in Portugese
