You throw a downpour onto a rubbered-in, marbled track, and the field was on worn slicks, with zero wet practice - not even the 15mins they had in 1996 prior to the race. And yet, only one person binned it properly. A couple laps of tip-toe learning on inters then they were flying confidently. It was impressive to watch, but I want to see fallible humans for god's sake, not autonomous driving robots |
