this season has been a delight with Mercedes struggling. Now they can come back to their business

now for our good bonus stats

.20th pole position start for Max Verstappen (equals Damon Hill and Valteri Bottas for 14th)
.35th win for Max Verstappen
.15th win a season for Max Verstappen (record set, first time a driver equals the legendary 1988 McLaren tally by himself)

.final race with 15 world championships for now

.also final GP start (unless they return in the future) for Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, Mick Schumacher and Nicholas Latifi

It's kind of annoying how much this record keeps getting brought up and the broadcasters keep touting it even though it still ranks lower in terms of win percentage: Schumacher 2004 (72.22%) and Vettel 2013 (68.42%).
