Feels weird that all the top 10 completed their final laps BEFORE the clock ran out and that no-one tried to improve their times afterwards considering they could at least attempt it...

Anyway, that went exactly as expected, Max Pole ;)

the perks of hybrid engines, they waste all the battery charge and have no juice for a new attempt

Wondering if Ferrari tried to prioritize race pace and straight line speed because their car looks absolutely terrible in sector 2. Given how quickly they chew up their tires, and all that sliding in sector 2, I'd be very surprised if they finish in the top 6 even.

All part of the plan to slip down to 3rd in the constructors to gain more windtunnel time in 2023. #strats

See, Mercedes had the fastest car all along - the problem is just that the air's too thick most of the time :flag:

For Austin I predicted a processional race. Let's hope for another one ;)

Start green, but exactly as predicted

Merc didn't run with any kind of plan to use George to tow lewis into an attack at T1, so Max has a huge lead

Red Bull 1-2 before too long
