Generally a boring race, but still one of my favorites. I love the history and the atmosphere and spectacle of Monza, plus it's a beautiful traditional circuit with the cars running through the shadows of trees at well over 200mph.

Not the most exciting races in the last years. I hope Leclerc will win again, so he can really have his moment to celebrate.

What you mean with "for the last time" part? Kimi is still an active F1 driver. :whistling:

only a bizarre sequence of events to make Kimi Raikkonen start on pole

You mean something like Stroll got onto the front row at Monza a few years back?

pretty much like that. Specially in Monza where they take advantage to change PUs. Last year Hulkenberg got a 40-place penalty and Ricciardo got 30

This year, watch as Hulkenberg and Ricciardo finish respectively 40th and 30th, no penalty required.

So how long until Renault bosses think it's enough and they're out?

Lets hope they get to their senses and kick out Cyril. But I fear it will be too little, too late.
I give them 2-3 more years. Only to come back within 5.

Well first thing they should do is fire who ever is in charge of race strategies. They have cost the team easily 20 maybe 30 points from just horrible calls.

Renault will call it quits, disband the majority of the team, then decide to come back and have to build from scratch all over again, costing them even more money and have another extended run of mediocrity.

Is Cyril the new Eric? I personally rate Sam Michael or......Mike Gascoyne higher than Eric. Cyril needs to balls up another team to be Eric levels of incompetent. (I know Gascoyne wasn't a team boss but was certainly one of the higher ups calling shots)

People say this every year, but there's usually something worth watching for
(Vettel and Alonso's moments in Curva Grande, Ricciardo/Lewis' dive bombs in T1 chicane etc)

Last year was a pretty damn good race, all considered.

Also, does anyone else think that with their power advantage, Ferrari designed their car specifically to win Monza?
If they don't win it this weekend something is really wrong with them

Imagine how much of a legend Leclerc will be with the Tifosi if he takes his 2nd win back to back (and the first one he'll really feel like celebrating) at Monza

Lets face it, that's happening already

We know the future of Ferrari, and it's not Seb

Race will either be cancelled or run behind the safety car if the weather forecast that I looked at is right.
