7/10.

You can't ignore the stupid start, VSCs and the few boring parts. It looked like nice race for a while with Kimi 3rd and Valtteri 2nd, but we got yet another 1-2 win by big three (Mercedes, Ferrari, RBR).

Kvyat did a great job. So did Stroll. Max earned the win.

Given the F1 expectations bar is at ankles' level right now I give it a 10.

It has to be race of the year. Dont know what could top that action.
Best since Canada 11.
Did we have a standing start, yes we did. Like we usually like to bitch about it when SC leads a start.

10/10. Best race of Hybrid Era. Driving skill was a factor today like I haven't seen in a while.

I think the start was pretty coherent. Some formation laps for the drivers to get acquainted with a condition they hadn't seen during the weekend and we had a standing start. And VSC came when we had yellow flags on sectors 2 and 3 - can't argue with that.

I loved it but this race gets its score for pure randomness and seeing the top teams teams have NFI for once. As far as actual racing quality goes, it was actually a bit sad to see how poorly suited these cars/drivers are for anything other than perfect conditions. Would be interesting to see how this year's lap times when the weather was at its worst compare to lap times on the same track in equivalent conditions from 10 years ago, if that was possible.

I do see the randomness thing - When we have a race that goes against the status quo we love it. So, part of the good this race is exactly the status quo built by the other races. And this time the randomness is even more to celebrate as we have the same 5 guys taking the top-5 every race.

But I don't think everything about this race is about the randomness. We all complain about the tracks not being a challenge and this race was in part about surviving - Experienced drivers, hyped drivers, a more than proven champion made mistakes and were punished by that and this is part of what shuffled the field too - not only the changing weather and the frequent SC and VSC interventions.

This race may not have had the fierce battles like we have seen in Silverstone, but it gave the chance for us to see a different part of the skillset of the drivers.

Awesome race. These conditions really separate the boys from the men.

Max drove brilliantly. Vettel idem. Like or hate both but its not just all luck today for either.
A few more like this race and Verstappen and Vettel are back in the title race (wishful thinking however)

That was one of the best races in years, ranking up there with the likes of Suzuka 2005, Monaco 1984, Donington 1993 and Canada 2011. I can't think of any one driver who didn't make a mistake and the final corner had no chill at all. 10/10

Three amazing races in a row after the "F1 is dead" doom and gloom after Bore Ricard. Maybe @Scotty had another early night?

I'd rank Nurburgring 1999 among those

Every decade we have a couple of races that go down in legend, this was one of them

Almost exclusively when it rains. Although Austria and Britain this year were anomolies.

Taken Mercedes out of Britain and that would have been one of the most epic races ever
