Simple. Lewis Hamilton is the best thing since sliced bread.

Another well deserved, hard earned win by the best driver ever to have existed in the history of the universe.

Great job Lewis!

I think polls should be correct and fair, not a list of zeros when it sucks or tens when it's good.

I'm a bit fed up of Lewis being always lucky and has now won more than half of all the races since 2014 Melbourne.

Today I realized that Lewis would have won yesterday anyway. He was on one stop strategy while Bottas was on two.

Lewis would have jumped Bottas at the pit stops. He was faster in the race, and even during quali but he made mistakes. I never doubted he would win, the SC just made it easier for him.

I was kinda hoping this race would suck because two good races in a row might stop them making the fundamental changes they need to.

they made these races good on purpose obviously, the only thing they can't fix yet is disallowing a mercedes victory

Well actually no. Valtteri was making the gap bigger for few laps just before Giovinazzi went off. So Bottas would have came up in front of Lewis under normal situation, but since Valtteri had one more stop coming up...

I'm disappointed, really wanted to vote fair in this thread :-/

It's a 9/10 for me, would've been a 10 if Bottas won it. This is as good as F1 racing gets.

Yeah, I listened to the Autosport podcast on Monday where they were pretty forensic about it.

Mercedes let Lewis decide if he wanted to do a one stop race with an attitude of "ok, well if YOU want to do that, you do it, but if you get a puncture or the tyres go off at the end of the race, don't come crying to us, on your head be it"

Then in the race, he was hassling Bottas so much despite still looking after the tyres enough, they had a collective feeling of "Well, shit.....Bottas gonna be MAAAAAD"
But by that time his bed was made and it was just a case of WHEN Lewis would pass (in the pits, on track after hunting down a 5 or so second lead after Lewis' first stop, or when Bottas pitted 2nd time) not if

All the SC really robbed us of is a couple of laps more battling with Lewis/Bottas (who would NOT have given up the place easily, but judging how they raced pre SC, I very much doubt he would've employed Nico Rosberg tactics and run into Lewis) and a pass on track for the lead.
But the result was certain
