That's good until the VSC comes out

Simple fix for that, have the drivers actually adhere to yellow flags, rather than this whole I slowed down by 3 tenths crap, and if it is more serious then throw a full safety car.

Seeing how artificial the racing has become how about the top 10 can't refuel but those out of it could opt to? Imagine the bottom half of the field being 25% of the fuel weight of the top 10 going balls to the wall against cars that are actually faster, but the trade off is they will have to have a longer stop or stops? Now that could be interesting.

Balls to the walls? Yeah, right. Three engines per season and saving mode will be paramount. You can pass 50 cars in 3 races but will be dropped to the back of the grid for 1/3 of the season after that once the aggressive driving style begins to chew up the engines. Add bad press like Honda had and it's a recipe for disaster.

I do wonder just how much money is actually saved by limiting the number of engines. Especially when the money is just spent elsewhere.

No money is saved whatsoever. They just build hundreds of bits to test to destruction on the dyno instead.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

the best way to save money is to quit F1 engine supply and develop Formula E engines

Haven't you seen how that regulation change has prompted several teams to finally gather a budget to join in the recent years? Privateers and large manufacturers included? And what about the financial health of smaller teams that did nothing but improve? You must be blind

I fully support a return to refueling. I was never really a fan of this refueling ban anyway...

Since Pirelli makes such durable tires, why don't they just run on one set of tires per race and...refuel?
