Apart from some midfield battles, this race had nothing of interest all weekend. It gets one or two points because of that midfield battle, but in general I really can't give more than 1.

2 - It had a safety car at least, even though the race was so dull we won't even remember that.

1.

This was boring even for Catalunya low standards.

One of the tracks I am glad it will be dismissed.

Weird because back in 1991 it was supposed to be the new pinnacle regarding a racing track. and I will never forget the battle between Mansell and Senna.

at least we had a great last slingshot to the straight, which was destroyed a few years ago.

Formula One. Numero Uno. Racing Point.

So 1/10.

Barcelona is a challenging track in simulators, and even somewhat fun, but for F1 it has hardly ever provided much apart from few special occasions like 1996, 2001 and 2012.

Also, the tires are like Bridgestones now, thanks for Ferrari and Red Bull Racing moaning about Pirellis in 2013 and getting the tires changed. The irony is that they now can't challenge Mercedes as the tires are so durable and predictable.

2 because of the first lap, Kvyat Albon passing around the outside of turn 6 and SC/restart stuff with the Haas

On to monaco, where for gods sake we badly need it to rain

Leave it to this piece of shit of a track to ruin even a final 10-lap shootout, with everyone on 100% fuel and fresh tyres.

Fuck you, Catalunya GP, fuck you to Hell. F1 can gladly take my boredom elsewhere for something fresh at least. Spain deserves a more exciting venue.

2/10
