So F1 has gone stealth full course caution for cars well off up the escape road. And after another boring arse race am honestly questioning why I waste my time on watching and commenting on this shit anymore.

I ran a half marathon, and had 'taped' it.

glad I did so I could watch at 2x and 6x speed.

amazing how there can be so many incidents during practice / qualifying and in the race just nothing. Are they too conservative for the race?

It should become like a pit limiter and have them cruise around at, say, 100kph? Or whatever speed these caricatures of a car can drive safely without overheating or cooling off too much their precious tyres. A few corners would be passed at close to "racing" speed but that would carry zero risk when approaching them at 100kph

Thats what im saying since years. Have race control trigger the pit speed limiter on all cars by remote.

I must say they must run slowly enough to make the tires outside ideal temps and provide more interesting restarts based on race craft
