When Ferrari was 1-2 I just knew something would go wrong. I'm glad that Vettel spun, Leclerc is the go to guy.

As a Ferrari-fan I was never worried like during their previous era. It was usually in the bag like Mercs. Nowadays their bound to fail for whatever reason.

Yeah, me too. HD went to SD about every few minutes, and the onboards stopped working for a while, they were also not in sync with the world feed, the commentary was behind and the team radio was soom silent you could understand nothing. Basically nothing worked, disgraceful actually. Friday everything worked perfect, I guess their servers can't handle many viewers.

I had problems before the race start, but with everything. It would just repeat the same segment over and over. For the rest, I agree. team radio was shit, onboards were completely out of sync, and then you pay for it.

Bahrain is the best track of the year for racing/passing. A shame that its the second race and not something later on.

This race felt strange to me. It didn't seem like a race from the hybrid era. At the same time, we had drivers going for two stops like in the early 2010s and the paces changed a lot during the race like we were in the '80s.

As per Hamilton, he is lucky indeed, but you have to be utterly good and consistent to take the chances that come by. That's why he's the lucky guy while Vettel didn't even have a chance to be lucky because he decided to screw everything before the chance came and Bottas... well that's the guy we've been missing since Melbourne.

Feel like I'm being punished for not being a Hamilton/Mercedes fan, whenever Hamilton panics on the radio that something is wrong, he'll immediately set the fastest lap... whenever anyone else does it's a legit issue..... but gosh I'm just so gutted... Apart from that it was a fantastic race, Bahrain really knows how to produce good racing

Really enjoyed that race, there was stuff happening all the time, but obviously I'm gutted for Leclerc. Vettel should have been there to pick up the pieces, but once again all Mercedes have to do is turn up and wait for Ferrari to fall apart. Can't really begrudge Mercedes for that.

Mercedes wins, Ferrari fails. Nothing changed.

Decent race though

Apparantly there's an actual sandstorm in Bahrain today

I think by now they'll have realised Vettel is the wrong horse to back. However, if it's written into his contract somewhere then I don't know.

One world championship, the first since over 10 years, is worth more than a measly contract even with a driver the caliber of Vettel.
