Luckily the wheel nut (which caused the accident) picked a forgiving corner to break down, which is also near the pits. |

Can someone explain to me why Force India would put a rookie third driver (who then binned it and damaged it) in their brand new car before the other drivers? They surely can't be that cash strapped can they? |

Gary Anderson asked exactly the same question; he said if it was his decision (he was their tech director way back when they were Jordan) he would've taken one look at the weather and sent one of the race drivers out. It doesn't seem like the smartest thing they ever did. |
