You know how it's going to be. They either do nothing or actually make the track worse. No chance in hell that they would use the Full layout with the old oval.

Yeah leave as it is. They had one oval more than 10years ago and some special year and some special tyres had problems there..

This is the best thing F1 has done in a long time

Followed this guy on YT for a while even though I'm not into most other sports, even saw him on ad-breaks during V8 Supercars doing Australian sports animations too, so his star is definitely rising

Great vid tho

Even tho it'd def be better with ben edwards :P

You know how ridiculous futuristic sports are in hollywood movies like Death Race and Rollerball? I feel like Formula E and Formula 1 will quickly accelerate us towards something like that.

I like the sound of that.

the future will be Nascar Racers, with tracks featuring loopings and jumping gaps and cars having jet engines and gimmicky stuff to fly around and overtake over the air

We will get all those things, but it will just be computers driving them around. Today's society is so fearful of death and bodily injury that I'm amazed we still have MMA/UFC/Wrestling, when there are already robot fighting leagues.

As long as there are men enjoying watching two half-naked men sweating one on top of the other, there'll be MMA and such.

I would only watch if the AI racers were programmed to crash each other if they're losing

The Schumacher mode. Contra: you crash into people. Pro: you gain 0.5s per lap.

Alonso mode: Contra: you get a crap car. Pro: your teammate will let you through.
Magnussen mode: Contra: you crash into people. Pro: Race director won't punish you for it.
Sirotkin mode: Contra: lots of DLC. Pro: achievement to be unlocked.

Made a playlist of all the F1 2018 youtube highlights to make a season review. Heard the official dvd/blu-ray is very bare-bones, this should cover everything (except for a few missing practice sessions F1 never uploaded on youtube, like Australia FP3). Don't know the total runningtime, but it should be a couple of hours.
