I wasn't expecting to find grass in the track, that's such a great thing

That was utterly stupid by Williams, they would have easily seen Kimi coming down the pitlane. Why the need to beat him out?

Mercedes have the best tyre temps for dominating.....at about 11am

So good for them, they'll be on top for FP3

Ferrari seem to have the tyres that work best at 2pm so...pole and victory for Vettel this weekend then

This entire summer heatwave is a conspiracy to hand ferrari a championship since their car works best in hot weather.
30 degree heat in england? C'monnnn, no-one is gonna believe that one! :p

Considering you've been predicting Ferrari dominating every race and the championship since the start of the season and there's still only 1 point in it, maybe just see how the race goes?

Davidson immediately blames the gravel trap and ignores the fact the tarmac runoff before it did nothing to slow him down

It was actually the wheel bending under the chasis that caused the near flip.

On channel 4 it was so much more in depth, they were live when the flip happened and not on ads, which helped, and Karun immediately noticed it was the wheel causing the car to buck up onto its side.

Then they pasted in their own tast extra slow-mo replay to identify exactly which pull-rod broke

So much more informed.

I am wondering, if you send out a car with a wheel not good attached, you get a penalty.

Now if you send out a car with such suspense failure, which is much worse and dangerous but I guess then that is not a problem? But perhaps it was also not good attached.

just wondering

Vettel is suffering from some neck issues which is why he didn't do many laps in FP3.

On the slow motion replay, you saw lots of debris bouncing off Hartley's halo and into the cockpit. With a larger piece of debris, that could easily injure the driver.

(Not wanting to start another halo debate :p But thought it was worth noting).

FIA will only let Gasly quali if STR replace the suspension on all four corners.

Hartley won't be out in qualifying & the team still don't know what caused the failure.
