Oh man, Monaco strikes again, there are stuff that only happen at Monaco, crazy races, unexpected winners, I wonder now how much that will interfere in the F1 schedulle

LOL, Porsche Supercup delayed already.

apparently it's really stuck and only a huge crane can remove it. And there is none anywhere near...

It's about to start in time.

EDIT: Delayed by 15 minutes. Can't see a crane there however.

Oh, how I wish we could have some rain, yesterday it was like 80% in weather.com, but after all we will have no rain in any race of the weekend. But anyway, let's hope for a good race. Hope Schummy can find a way to the podium there. I'm off now, need some sleep otherwise I won't be able to stand awake in the race. Have a nice time with the upcoming races (Porsche and WSBR) guys!

Wonder if Mark Webber can hang onto the lead at the start seeing as he usually drops five places before Turn 1.

This has me worried. Hard to believe someone who has so much time in the red bull can be consistently bad at starts.

Hope he can pull it together for this race.

What concerns me is Lewis is right behind him, I doubt he will find space past if Mark bogs down

by the way, I only noticed today that the chicane (after tunnel) no longer has that huge grand stand.

hadn't heard about this incident

Quote:
McLaren drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton write to injured fan
By Jonathan Noble Saturday, May 26th 2012, 17:30 GMT

Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton have written get well messages to a McLaren fan who was badly injured in a fall from a grandstand ahead of opening practice for the Monaco Grand Prix.

The duo acted after hearing that Lawrence Relph, a 49-year-old from Margate in Kent, broke his back and left leg when he fell following the collapse of the grandstand at Tabac. Another spectator avoided injury after clinging on before being rescued.

The two drivers said they were saddened by the accident, which is why they decided to write him personal letters.

Button said: "It was pretty serious. We both wrote him a letter saying the obvious - get well soon, and sorry to hear about your incident. We thanked him for his support because he is a massive fan of the team, and us two.

"It is a very difficult time for him. He came here to watch F1 and he hasn't seen anything as he has been in hospital. We also gave him a gift which is a limited edition McLaren book, so hopefully he can watch us on television in hospital."

Hamilton added: "We would not be here without our fans. They mean a huge amount to me and the team, and any follower of the team – we are grateful for the support we get.

"When we heard about it, we were quite saddened by it and so just sending him a letter was the least we could do. We hope he has a speedy recovery. It is tragic but we hope he will get better."

Jennie too

@JennieGow
Could be a protest looming after the race as the Red Bull floor comes under scrutiny from the other teams. Interesting times ahead.

I fear today is gonna be difficult for people looking for Sky streams(eventhough BBC is doing it this weekend too) as they were all removed from vipbox :(

edit: the traditional stream is back

Oh, and there's a chance of rain towards the end of the race, to spice things up that bit further #BBCF1

wow, this red bull floor is quite a story. RBR pondering to replace it with the old floor, but would have to mean both VET & WEB have to start at the back.
