Alonso crashes at the last corner, but Sky was on commercials. :yuk: Why the hell one would pay to see commercials? If it was FTA, then I would understand.

Try to find an F1TV stream. Uses Sky's audio but no ads.

I know one stream, but it wasn't working. Anyway, I feel for those who pay more than a penny for commercials. There should be class action against Sky. I'm sure there would be, if Netflix started showing ads.

Dunno how it is in Finland, but all our pay channels show ads. Not mid-session, but still.

Yeah, Canal+ does the same here. It's a good compromise. You get ads pre-formation lap, and after the finish just before the podium. None in the middle of the race, even during cautions or red flags.

Yeah, I don't care if they show ads 20 hours straight provided that none are shown during the sessions, FPs included.

FP2 is under way.

the matte finish makes the McLaren look more white than blue on camera

Now we need Bottas to set exactly same time, so I can finally believe that Jerez 97 wasn't a timing error.

I didn't expect him to pull nearly half a second on Hamilton, in fairness 8O

Pretty vulnerable spot. We've seen plenty of big wrecks heading right at that location over the years.

They obviously need to bring a crane there. Had he parked somewhere else, the car would've been craned away in a jiffy.

I don't think there will be cranes lifting cars over the track if they can avoid it these days.

In the press conference, Mattia Binotto openly admitted that they have a flexible rear wing and that they would probably have to make some changes.

He did add that most of the teams are doing it, but it's still interesting to hear a team boss freely admit to something like this.
