Washed-up vet Kubica still has more points in that Williams He would've gotten them if the red flag didn't unlap Raikkonen. If he can't score a point in a race with 12 runners then I see no point in hyping this guy anymore. Maybe only Sky can ride this train. |

Tuukka Rask has been one of all time greatest for Boston, but you think it's ok to ridicule him for chosing his family instead of his work. You do realize his wife has cancer? And Valtteri is racing against a living legend. |

The only way that makes sense, is if the lap Kimi and Grosjean had was caused by the red flag and the way cars were stopped in the pits (perhaps offering a lap to all the others). Maybe that's tye reason, I don't think the officials would just hand out that much advantage to someone (apart of course from the gap you lose in a SC situaion) |

Kubica only scored that point because of Alfa's penalties. |

Lol, no Barrichello didn't look better. He rarely beat Michael fair and square, Bottas is way closer to Hamilton. Even last year he was still in contention for the title much further than Barrichello ever was against Michael. Lol |

Gaara wrote: Kubica only scored that point because of Alfa's penalties. Yes, he did. And also Russell made a driving error in that race to allow Kubica by. He's blown more chances than one already. There is nothing that makes me think Russell has a future in one of top F1 teams. |

Barrichello never slightly looked like a contender against Schumacher as Bottas resembles. Bottas is far closer to his teammate and far more consistent. |

Vassago, master F1 driver manager Dude, drop it. By your standards, there are no worthy drivers currently on the F1 grid. If Russell and Bottas are crap, I have no idea what it takes to be a good F1 driver anymore A rookie that makes a couple mistakes, and a driver that can't beat the most successful F1 driver ever in the same equipment, fire them both |

I think you might've been spoiled by Rosberg who was at least able to consistently challenge Hamilton for poles and wins. Bottas is definitely a substantial step below that, although still a solid driver and would easily be the lead driver in a mid field team. |

I see you prefer to load the excuses for him, that's fine. It's no different than hearing the usual Sky commentary. Of course Bottas can stay in F1 but with a mid-pack team. He's extended his stay at Mercedes and it's obvious he can't challenge Hamilton whatsoever. If Mercedes could break Verstappen's RB contract they'd drop Bottas in 5 seconds IMO. He only got his shot there because Rosberg retired prematurely and I suppose Mercedes wanted such a bland character after Hamilton & Rosberg handbags both on & off the track. They sure found their man. If Mercedes didn't enjoy such a huge advantage over the rest, they wouldn't keep Bottas for this long. |

Bottas only stays at Merc because he isn't costing them the constructors title. They're getting both titles right now so why worry that the number two driver is behind the majority of the time. Verstappen is their only real threat right now and that's only if his car doesn't conk out. |

But it's Red Bull who has the revolving door in car #2 so they can afford to keep him for another year at least. Even Barrichello was shown the door right after the very first season he struggled to match the Renaults in 2005. |

And then is conveniently slow in the race so there is never any doubt about who will be given the title. |
