The thing about Vettel's whines isn't just that they were regular old whines. He once again showed that he places himself above the team, and that he is the one calling the shots at Red Bull, and everybody who asks him to do something for the teams best instead of for his own best can fuck themselves.

I think this was clear with the half-begging "Vettel stay out to stick to strategy. Please stay out!"

What other team feels the need to say please on the radio as if they were pleading with him to see it their way?

Every other team is all "this is our strategy, come in now or you're fired" etc.

Says it all about how Red Bull operates, if Multi 21 didn't spell it out clearly enough.

Don't judge drivers solely by team radios because we don't hear much...

Which makes it that much sweeter every time Ricciardo beats him.

Teams seem to be managing the fuel limits comfortably as well, we certainly don't have situations where drivers are having to go on mega fuel saving modes at the end to make it home. Feels almost as if them showing us how much the cars have used during the telecast is redundant information.

They could've flagged it when Rosberg got past Alonso and nothing of value would've been lost jajajajajajajaja

Seriously though that's a pretty serious error....tracks have lost races due to less. :whistling:

Massa's slow stop was caused because the mechanics initially had the rear wheels on the wrong side of the car.

Was bored shitless this week, but did anybody notice how unprofessional the entire presentation was this race? The race graphics showed the wrong cars a lot, and a bunch of race graphics flashed up and disappeared like some noob hit the wrong button. The blue flags were wrong all race, and at one point Fernando Alonso (then second) was blue flagged. And now, this -

http://www.f1zone.net/news/chinese-race ... rly/31854/

Quote:
The result of the Chinese Grand Prix has been called two laps prematurely due to a bizarre mistake by officials at the circuit.
Race leader Lewis Hamilton was shown the chequered flag at the end of the 55th lap, rather than the 56th as required. Hamilton radioed his team on the final lap of the race to inform them of the error. But the race results have been listed as the running order at the end of the 54th lap due to Article 43.2 of the sporting regulations.

'Should for any reason the end-of-race signal be given before the leading car completes the scheduled number of laps, or the prescribed time has been completed, the race will be deemed to have finished when the leading car last crossed the line before the signal was given', read the regulations.

The change means that Kamui Kobayashi's last gasp pass on Jules Bianchi for 17th place did not count.

It felt a wee bit amateur this week from the FIA, only a week or so since they decided that broken fuel sensors were good enough for getting teams disqualified. Slightly worrying down trend in quality this year.

As I say, China better find a lot more money for next year's race because Bernie has thrown tracks off the calender for much less.

I'm sure it'll be swept under the carpet if that happens.

It will be, China throws too much money at them for the FIA to treat to treat them the way they treated Jerez. Just look at Turkey and Bahrain politicising F1.

Hamilton bunching up the field so he isn't stationary too long on the grid.

The fact that the 2004 Chinese GP was a lot better than this says everything about this race, and what this season(and new "era") has been and is going to be.

Barcelona is gonna be hilarious
