halo graphics are funny, there is a clear audio delay on the image, so the rev counter is always ahead. Dunno why they never looked to fix this |

IMO the point here is not really Magnussen's manouvres (nothing new), but that Steiner is implicitly supporting them (by criticizing the rivals): Magnussen is dirty and his boss applauds him. |

Coming out of Luffield was over aggressive by Magnussen, but the positioning of both cars heading into Maggotts was all Alonso. Then again these two had issues at the the very start of the weekend with dumb driving by Fernando and an unnecessary chop by Kevin. TLDR; both were idiots one way or the other this weekend. |

The Maggots one was fine, Alonso should have bailed out of that earlier. But the whole thing about Magnussen (and Sainz, Grosjean and Max) is that they do stuff that isn't quite blatant so there isn't really a clear cut penalty that can be applied. I have said before that that kind of driving is far more dangerous than the bone head swipe because the other driver isn't expecting it, and all these subtle moves over and chops happen at closer quarters where the chance of interlocking wheels is much higher. |

I long for the day and age where we could just say it was a racing incident and just move on. But the sad reality is that we live with drivers who seem to think that driving and squeezing opponents off the road/ cutting them off etc is par for the course. Give them any more leeway and you will have a whole field of KMags. BUT this is the FIA so we know that they will enforce some stupid shit and then neglect another more blatant one, thus creating an even bigger problem. |

I wonder if this has been discussed before, but haven't pit lane starters been released too soon? I thought the rule was that pit lane lights went to green when the whole field has passed turn 1. This was obviously not the case here, otherwise Perez would've never found himself almost T-boning the Williamses after spinning out from the midfield. |
