Ok, first Brundle says that the fans should prefer the new layout. Now he's saying that all new tracks should replicate the hairpin.

1. They already do, and it sucks.
2. No. Just no.

Did he suddenly lose his mind when he went to Sky?

We've discussed the layouts at least twice so far in this thread. The old layout provided crap racing. You can argue if you want, but it's true and we all know it. It was an awesome to seeing them thunder through the forests at 200mph, but it was the same every year - two by two. The racing SUCKED. The new layout has no character but it's provided better racing in its short time than the old layout ever did.

I wish they'd kept the old layout active, as well as having the new one, but we can't have everything.

They're finally cracking down on people going wide at T1. Good.

Stick gravel in T1 and they won't go wide there. Simples.

No?

Shame.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Can't really have gravel at T1 because you don't really have offs there. Gravel is meant to stop cars who are having accidents from hitting the wall at higher speed. It's unusual to have accidents like that at T1. Just put down low grip astroturf crap.

In fairness, he's said he prefers the new layout before in his book too. Basically said that with the old track, you sat there with your foot on the floor and just prayed nothing would go wrong with the car. Unique spectacle for the fans, but a lot of the drivers hated it.
