Ricciardo for getting wrecked in the first turn, then somehow salvaging a points finish and beating his teammate.

Had to go for Button, just got everything right.

Maldonado. Feel pitty for him, was a good drive, just 1 lap too short though.

Raikkonen.

Alonso. For getting that truck into a decent position, racing better cars and beating that over-hyped silver machine from Brackley.

Jenson Button for sure, he was perfect, since the start until the last lap, a fantastic performance.

Gave it to Alonso, made the Ferrari look deceptively competitive ... particularly compared to Massa's efforts. Had Pastor made it another half a lap, he'd have won it hands down, though ... such a shame for Williams and I hope these points don't go too badly missed.

Kimi for picking up more places in his comeback race. Showed great skills to get to the points

Went with Button, just couldn't get over the gap he pulled on the restart! that was pure confidence

it's between Button and Alonso for me. But I go with Alonso, compared to his teammate at least he doesn't give up in a rather 'shite' car.

Button was brilliant, probably deserves the award. Vettel was good, 6th to second is nothing to look down on. Alonso out performed that dog of a car, Raikkonen had a great come back. Some really good drives on Sunday.

Button for perfect drive. But a big credit for Alonso for finishing 5th in crappy machinery.

Can hardly big up those guys can we? They all benefited from the retirements too, and 7th downwards was just a complete gamble. Frankly di Resta and Ricciardo lucked into those points, they were never in contention for them until the mess on the last lap.

Maldonado first drove into Grosjean, then the wall. Whilst he was fast, so was Senna at points during the race. I don't see why Maldonado should get preference over Raikkonen given Raikkonen started behind him, finished in front of him, and didn't hit a wall during the race.

Ricciardo wasn't even in the points until the last lap, then Rosberg and Maldonado dropped out. That is basically the definition of luck right there. Kimis 7th might not have been driver of the race, but it's more of an achievement than the drivers behind who were just pulling straws to end up with who got those points.

Short of running off the track, there wasn't much Grosjean could do to avoid Pastor - but as Lewis found out last year, you do actually have to get off the track if you want to avoid his antics. One good drive doesn't undo his season of crashing into everything that moves.

Your definition of luck is a bit out of whack for motor racing. Sudden things like crashes and mechanical failures are the result of mistakes y'know, not just the wrath of the motorsports gods. To imply drivers were lucky to benefit from Rosberg and Maldonaldo's issues also implies that those drivers simply ran out of luck, but luck had little to do with it. Is it any less lucky to have someone in front of you drop out on the first lap rather than the last? The thousands of decisions and risk responses each driver made through the race is what got them those positions, particularly what earned Ricciardo a finish in front of his teammate (which I think is the real achievement).

I doubt anyone in the sport would look at any of the top 10 results and say they were the result of luck.

17 people have voted for Kimi? Seriously does everyone in this forum have rocks in their head? He finished 1-2 maybe 3 places LOWER than what the car is probably capable of, even then, he had 2 major retirements infront (Schumacher and Maldonado) and a first corner incident help him. Yet he was good enough to be voted better than Ricciardo (dead last at the end of lap one to ninth) Perez (dead last on the grid) Maldonado (a guy who nobody rated at all to even score points ran in the top 10 for 57.5/58 laps)?

My god I have not missed the Kimi fanboy retards these last 2 years.

U mad bro

Well when you're calling people retards because they voted a particular driver I felt you didn't deserve a better response

I'm with him Scotty. You don't need to assume everyone who voted for Kimi is a retarded fanboy
