As well as Virgin, Lotus has some new livery this weekend, with Caterham branding on the sidepod and GE logos. Wonder if HRT will have a Red Bull logo.

That's three races in a row with same steward in 2010 and 2011.

Hope there's nothing he can injure himself on in the room.

Oh wait, there's air in the room... that'll injure him.

Unless they need to make the room bigger to ensure he fits comfortably

Interesting fact. No driver has won the British GP consecutive years since DC did it in 99/00.

Plus I'm going on Friday 8)

Also since 2003 there are eight different winners.

I wasn't too fussed about going to this race, but now I kind of wish I had tickets.

Such a hard circuit to stay close in the corners but I think DRS and Pirelli will give us a decent race. Maybe the weather as well. One of those circuits where it's just great to watch the cars anyway. The direction changes in Maggots/Becketts are incredible.

And the journalists are complaining that the media centre doesn't have any windows.

Stops them trying to go two wide down pitlane. Spa used to be narrower.

In fact, that's pretty stupid not to have any windows there

Apparently the no windows thing is temporary until some new commentary boxes are put in next year.

The pitlane is pretty epic on exit if F1 2011 is anything to go by - really steep uphill climb!

Your logic applies more to some past seasons where races had no action but the points were close. It was like following a points chart back then, therefore it made sense to skip the races.

This year is completely the opposite. If you only watch the races without caring about the points standings, then it's one of the best seasons ever since like a decade.

Whats with the grass down the middle of the pit lane? That serves no purpose what so ever.

How about from the point of view of poles and wins? Not disputing the fact the mid-field racing is as good as it's ever been, but the same fuckin guy leading the field every week puts a bit of a damper on it.
