In a couple of years, they will straighten every corner because otherwise someone could go off and that's a risk nobody in the organisation is willing to take.. British GP will be from Dover to Torquay. At maximum speed of 250 km/h of course, can't risk someone crashing because of speed.

Max improved his lap despite yellow flags for Bottas? I guess it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

I appreciate having his time wiped won't make any difference, but will he get a penalty besides that?

Took the safety workers an awful long time to reach Bottas.

Leclerc is the main polesitter of the season still, but it impresses me how error-prone he is in qualifyings. He's messing up on Q3 very often.

It was a nice crash though, had a sheer ammount of banner damage

Purple sector 3 for Max despite Bottas and the waved yellow flags in plain view. I guess it'll come down to his mini sectors. Not sure what other penalty is available other than deleting the lap though.

Looks like an obvious clear cut penalty to me then, and it should be a grid penalty. Just deleting the lap gives drivers no incentive to slow down - you're going to lose your lap anyway if you back off so you may as well just blast full speed through any yellow zones and hope you don't get caught
