The races are too short as it is. The visual aspects sounds good. The sporting aspects sounds baaaaad.

one challenging corner that I like in the old track was the gasometer, simply unsuitable

It is a classic case of F1 papering over the cracks. There's so much that could be done better which can't happen because it's just spiralled out of control.
