Anyone else watching this on Motors TV atm? A Lotus has been on fire for nearly 10 minutes and is now burning to the ground while no one does anything about it.

I understand that it's dark and safety is a must, but that was way too long. That was a shocking length of time to deal with it.

Yeah. Perfectly understandable to want the SC out before sending any marshals on track, but it shouldn't take upwards of 5 minutes to put the SC out.

It was on track, it was pretty clear that it needed an SC right away. That incident is really going to have to be looked into because that is just not on.

On a more positive note, I love the mix of cars. Mazda's, Lotuses, Caterhams, a Honda Jazz, a van! and a VW Funcup.
