Audi won the first 2 Rennens in WEC and DTM and now also wins the Ring 24h. What a domination 8) Mercedes can only win on the crappy series :whistling:

Great coverage from the Vodafone stream but I fear whether it will be available next year again as I'm not sure 17k viewers worths the effort

Looks like just about 100 (102 if I counted correctly) cars have finished, out of 151.

I just had a phone shouting match with a Vodafone call center operator while watching their nice and tidy 4G streaming. Oh, the irony... 8)

Laurens Vanthoor is such a talented driver. I hope to see him in an LMP1 Audi someday.

Also very happy for the Falken guys.

Vodafone got great awareness on social media though. Lots of positive vibes towards the brand.

I think more important is to avoid other major GT3/ACO races (availability of drivers) and how many people are attending the race is probably a lot more important than tv audiences. And in this sense Indy500 on other side of the globe has little relevance.

An year ago it clashed with Austrian GP, wasn't the finish was moved earlier/later?

I don't know what Sport1 tv rating is but the livestreams only peaked at 17k viewers, combining both youtube versions.

Attendance is how much, 100k? Probably, the event relies nothing on tv ratings, media coverage and repercution on news, so I understand it won't have any financial impact on it(attendance will likely remain the same). I reacted like that because it will be an overload of motorsport in just 2 or 3 days. But it was more like an automatic reaction to it because I hardly follow F1 nowadays, so, no big problems.

I have a ton of respect for VDS, running in the 24H, ELMS and Moto2 this weekend. Lots of logistical head scratching there I reckon.

Hope that both ELMS and WEC keep their respective distance from this race.

And yes, I believe they moved the start to 16:30.
