Cars crashing and or stopping on track, track intervention car hit, guardrails destroyed. Typical night at the ring

Christodoulou on RLM explaining how an old teammate from Mathold Racing sent out that #165 Cayman with a spare tire and a jack to put on the #2 Mercedes. Plus he got a hammer from either a marshal or someone in the crowd, he's not really sure.

HOF.

Apparently the ambulance you could see from the live-stream onboard at Pflanzgarten was for the #1 Audi. The driver Christian Mamerow is supposed to be ok though.

German commentators know more than English? No word on RLM other than an ambulance on track at Planzgarten. Hoping for the best.

German commentators have been much more informed all race long already, RLM a bit clueless here and there

Thumbs up. It's not even regular RLM crew on right now, it is that Eurosport bloke ATM (Martin Haven?).

Have been on and off for the last few hours, but the GT3 attrition seem tremendous! Have they outgrown the Ring now?

They have a pitreporter who got the information from the Audi team.

Don't think you can blame all of it on RLM's capability. The German guys have more resources and personnel there to gather info.
