For those going and looking for strategic chilling positions:

Quote:
This year, no fewer than six screens will be set up to the delight of the spectators. These will be facing the Endurance grandstand, opposite the F1 grandstand, at Les Combes, in the Village, in the Endurance paddock, and facing the Raidillon Café on top of the Raidillon.

+ something that was also introduced last year and is pretty damn awesome:

Quote:
Even during the race you will be able to get a close up look at the action. One pit boxe in the F1 pitlane will open to the holders of a paddock pass. The ideal location to watch the team crews in action during the pitstops. Owning a paddock pass holds other advantages as well: this year, the terraces of the F1 pit building will be open to the public, providing the fans with a unique view of the pitlane and the track.

It's the pitbox (sponsored by Endurance-Info) between TDS Racing and Marc VDS, so look for the big VDS trucks.

Just wondering since there were so many people on the grid last year. Do you have access to the grid walk with paddock tickets?

I don't think so, but then again I don't know how it gets that crowded. The VIP-terrace I have access to hands out gridwalk passes, but I've only done it once before. It's way too crowded to actually enjoy it, and you start to get irritated really quickly by clueless people standing in the way of everything and everyone.

The car smashed in the barrier at the exit of Pouhon. Pretty violent. I hope ART can get a replacement for Saturday because I fear the chassis is toast.

Hi Guys, can someone please tell me how to get to the red marked area on the map? I was in Spa at the 1000km race back in may and tried to get there, saw many spectatores walking there but wasn´t able to find a way to get there.

Image

and a small other question, what about parking? more like at the f1 race or like at the 1000km. depending on how many traffic there is i have to drive a bit earlier ;)

thanks :flag:

Do You know how tot get to the karting track? Start there, and in that area there's a tunnel running under the track. Walk through there, and from there You van walk up tot that part of the track you're referring to.

You can also get there by walking around the outside of the circuit, anti-clockwise, from Bus Stop, right?

Laurens Vanthoor drops a 2.18.710 for a surprising (although due to the BoP a little less) Audi pole. 4 cars underneath the 2.19 barrier; first 14 cars within 1 sec. All 20 cars are far beneath the pole of last year as well.

Siked.

Yeah, sometimes it is.
At the 24h it shouldn't be a problem though. We (me, Esben and Marcel) went under there last year and had no problems whatsoever.

Great to see a lot of Aussie drivers participating, fingers crossed they do well. Hope to catch as much as possible of the event.
