Yeah the first race at Fuji earlier this year was really good...which is why I'm looking forward to the WEC race there.

DTM really should move to these regs. Love it.

same.

second race at fuji was just as good, if only for the fact the GT300 pole sitter(apr prius) locked up the rear and spun off on turn 1 on lap one haha

These seem to be GT3 based cars in the GT300 class. Imagine DTM at Norisring with BMWs and Mercs in GT500 style, and then R8s, 997s, 458s in a second class. Dear lord, you couldn't contain the awesomeness.

GT300 contains GT3 cars, and JAF GT300, like the Prius, ASL Garaiya, Vemac, Monncraft Shiden(rebodied DP), CR-Z, Subaru BRZ, and IS350.

Mr Audi man? He should be making sure the WEC title isn't decided by whichever R18 has to do the least nose changes for failed headlights.

Might not be too far off...DTM and Super GT are supposedly unifying their rulesets, unfortunately that may mean the GT500 cars will become to the same spec as DTM, not DTM turning into a european version of GT500.

Unfortunately it seems those talks have collapsed. It included Grand Am too, but that was a while back and obviously isn't an option now.

JLOC are running a Lambo in SuperGT. I remember being trackside at LM and it doing countless installtion laps as it destroyed gearboxes and clutches by the lorry load. They weren't too professional, lol.

JLOC has 4 Gallardo GT3 cars registered for the series, haha. The Gallardo is a whole different beast than the Murcie GT1.

Also, not sure if you can read French...

I thought he was the chairman of DTM Hans Werner Aufrecht

Oh so the talks are back up? Good. As long as it doesn't result in DTM rules being used in SuperGT. Allowing SuperGT rules introduces hybrids, which we know Audi is a fan of.

Well in that case he should do his job of not making the series as boring as humanly possible. I sometimes think DTM puts effort into being dull.

yea, there was an article in autosport a month or two ago, but like you said, it's a shame they won't be adopting Super GT rules

The main issue with it was both engine regs, and where the chassis would come from. The Germans want the Japanese to buy their chassis, while the Japanese would prefer to build their own.

I have no idea what's going on in this race (because I can't understand the commentators), but it's still fun.

I like the look of the Nissan. The Lexus not so much. I do miss the old Skyline though. Got a diecast of it.
