Awesome news, however the first year is always a hard one, even for Audi (1999).

What a stunning car.

And I think you can add 2008 as their first year as all the Charouz members where from Prodrive and they where evaluating the Lola Chassis, this is the same chassis with major adjustments (Hopefully).

But looking forward to see what they can do, this definitely gave me a reason to go to Le Mans again.

wow this was a suprise for the financial times... Boy Corrvette racing is now in a bad position for lemans and the entire ALMS series. Their goal was to fight Aston at lemans and now they have changed classes... Corvette should continued on the LMP1 car instead of moving to the GT2 class. 8O

How are Vette in a bad position? They can't lose Le Mans GT1 class now, and the ALMS program is a transitional one to move from GT1 to GT2.

Also...Corvette LMP1? Unless you mean that silly render about the LMP Evo regulations, which was never going to be made, I don't recall any Corvette LMP1 entry?

I've understood from some news reports last year that it was a serious idea at some point, but the GM management never hoorayed.

That was nothing more than a feasibility study for a set of rules which won't even be introduced anyway, lol.

Quite surprising as they laid off 600 people in December, maybe it was so they could afford this.

Well Prodrive and Aston Martin are still independent company's. You can see that Gulf clearly made this operation possible because if it would have been British green with some small sponsors they couldn't have done this. And Prodrive had to do something with Subaru gone.

Shakedown next week and two cars at Paul Richard test 8-9 March. Can't wait to see how much or little it differs from the rendering.

There is a pic too, almost useless though, but first public pic anyway.
